  • Zoya Matis, a local resident, has donated a whole box of commercial cookery books that will be able to be used by the young people as a valuable resource.

Letter received from a young person:

This letter was sent in from a young person from Mt Hunter. We were so inspired by this young person's vision for a united community we had to share it. While we may not have worded things in the same way the sentiment is definitely shared.... 


"It has come to my attention that you have been funded by the Federal Government $786,000 to establish, support to create jobs and increase skills of our youth with art projects. I would like you to read my artistic lyrics for a rap song that is aimed at supporting tolerance between the different racial, cultural and faiths of this nation's youth due to especially the cronulla race riots, the attacks against Indian students and the anti-Asian and other minority groups by the one nation party.
